Thankful

I am thankful for these things at this moment.
-the universe
-the power of positive thinking
-good health
-family
-friends
-John, who has blessed my life more than I could have imagined another human could.
-food network
-money to buy good food to feed my family
-my brothers safe travels through Saudi Arabia and London and back home
-a job which challenges me and allows me to learn and grow everyday
-humility
-a warm home
-my pets
-my iPhone and Siri
-the amazing meal I cooked, featured in a photo below.

Adventures

I couldn't possibly had a more perfect weekend (unless I had been on a beach) than I did this last weekend. John and I traveled to St. Louis to attend a wedding of John's friends Mike and Meg. I was able to meet some of John's friends. It was so wonderful to meet people that have known John for a long time. I feel like I have a whole new friend family of wonderful people! I am so lucky to have found an amazing man who has amazing people who love him. It says something about a persons character when they have so many good friends and people that care about them.
On top of a perfect weekend, I was able to reconnect with an old friend. Kourtney and I played oboe together for 4 years and then lived in the same river market building post undergrad.
Anyway, our friendship was one of my favorites from my 20's and I am happy to reconnect!
Life couldn't get much better. Thank you universe!!

Trying something new

I got my iPhone a few weeks ago. I thought I would see if blogger had an app. Lo and behold, they do! So enjoy this blog coming to you from my iPhone 4S! I'm hoping I can post Way more blogs since this is so convenient.

I attended the Sporting KC playoff game today. The games are really fun. They didn't win, but it's fine. In fact none of my teams won this weekend.

John sang backup for Ben Folds today in St. Louis. I wanted to be there so bad but it really wasn't feasible with work. I know it had to be quite the experience, can't wait to hear about it.
